Sometimes just a conversation with someone who knows what it's like to be a pilot can help take your peace and power back.

While the job of a pilot is commonly believed to be one of the most responsible and prestigious professions,

it also requires a defined psychological profile. Apart from being a highly demanding job, the role itself carries high expectations and often adds additional weight on the pilot’s shoulders. However, pilots are not immune to many outside influences such as job’ or common life stressors. That requires adequate actions and additional attention to be paid to the emotional health of the flight crew.

Therefore, adopting the best practice, Avion Express is glad to announce its Pilots Support Program. The airline has always been promoting open culture and encouraging its team members to speak up. We are launching this Peer Support Program to further nurture our non-punitive work environment as well as just culture principles. By this program, we want to offer our pilots a safe zone and create conditions to seek help and support from trained peers and mental health experts to solve their issues.

The Peer Support Program

corresponds to the highest professional and medical standards and functions under conditions of strict confidentiality. Experts with psychological backgrounds and substantial aviation experience supervise the entire process.
